How Assetiko Works
Assetiko designs and administers digital products around a defined reference, reserve, issuer or investment exposure. Every product is assessed on its own terms, supported by a product-specific legal and operational record, and published with the information required for informed independent review.
The process is consistent without pretending that every product has the same economics, legal rights, valuation method, backing or transfer conditions.
Digital assets linked to selected private company interests, dedicated vehicles or other documented economic exposure.
Products designed to reference specified index methodologies, reference levels, scaling rules and pricing sources.
Products supported by reserve, custody, valuation, reconciliation and redemption frameworks appropriate to the commodity.
A product moves through defined gates before it becomes a public record.
Define the asset category, intended exposure, target users, geographic scope, eligibility conditions and the role the digital asset is intended to perform.
Assess the underlying reference, issuer, reserve, counterparty, data source or investment opportunity for quality of information, relevance and structural suitability.
Identify the rights, restrictions, obligations, disclosures, permissions, transfer conditions and applicable agreements required for the proposed product.
Define issuance, custody, reconciliation, pricing, settlement, record keeping, redemptions, corporate actions and exception-handling procedures.
Prepare product terms, methodology statements, risk disclosures, issuer information, supporting records, notices and machine-readable metadata.
Publish the asset record, relevant documents and applicable metadata only after the required internal and external conditions for that product are satisfied.
Maintain the record through updates, notices, reconciliations, pricing changes, eligibility decisions, transfers, redemptions and other lifecycle events.
Roles are allocated expressly so the public record can distinguish the product, the issuer, the underlying exposure and the infrastructure used to issue or transfer the asset.
| Layer | What is defined | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Product | Reference, exposure, units, rights, restrictions, fees and lifecycle events | Prevents the digital representation from being mistaken for a different legal or economic instrument |
| Issuer | Issuing entity, authority, account, responsibilities and public notices | Identifies the party responsible for the issuance record and applicable communications |
| Vehicle or reserve | Dedicated vehicle, reserve pool, custody arrangement or other supporting structure, where applicable | Sets out separation, asset support, governance, reconciliation and administration mechanics |
| Infrastructure | Ledger, token identifier, metadata, trust-line or transfer conditions and pricing routes | Describes the technical rail without confusing infrastructure with the underlying exposure |
| Holder relationship | Eligibility, acquisition, holding, transfer, settlement, redemption and information rights | Establishes the conditions under which a holder may interact with the product |
Information model
Each published asset is organized around a stable information model so that a reader, wallet, platform or automated system can locate the same core facts without relying on promotional language.
Issuance is the beginning of a record, not the end of the control framework.
Update prices, reserves, supply, issuer information, methodologies, documents and other material facts according to the applicable product process.
Record events such as methodology changes, reserve changes, corporate actions, mergers, acquisitions, disposals, service-provider changes or disruptions.
Where permitted by the product terms, transfer restrictions, pauses, freezes, remediation, clawback or orderly wind-down may be used for defined legal, compliance, operational or product-protection reasons.
Clear boundaries are part of the product design.
A webpage, token name, metadata file or summary is not a substitute for the applicable product terms, methodology, legal notices or risk disclosure.
Publication, reference pricing, reserve information or on-chain availability does not guarantee liquidity, execution, redemption, performance or preservation of capital.
Rights differ by category. A tracker, private-market asset and reserve-backed commodity may have materially different ownership, transfer, settlement and redemption mechanics.
